Superintelligence: where does the new name come from?
On 30 September 2026 the US President signed an executive order making “superintelligence (SI)” the required term instead of “artificial intelligence (AI)” in official US government communications, announcements and policy documents.
The technology itself did not change overnight: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and similar models are the same systems. What changes is the vocabulary people search with, and brands that use both terms are found in both kinds of searches.
